Manufactured using gr304 stainless steel tube and flanges, tube diameter is 4" at the dump pipe, the mid section is 3; 1/2",  The rear mufflers section is now  3; 1/2" diameter, the rear muffler pipe work is 3; 1/2" diameter. C.N.C mandrel bent, all flanges are laser cut stainless steel, tig welded. This system was developed after countless hours on our inhouse dyno, flow bench and road testing, being 4" dia pipe tapering to 3;1/2" at the exit, allows the velocity of the gas to remain fairly constant, allowing a more uniform increase in torque through out the rev range, it also stops resonance occuring in the cabin and creates a deep subtle but still street legal note.

HEADER PIPE - FORD BA TURBO/XR6 FALCON SEDAN/UTE

 

Our unique design of 4" header pipe (Dump pipe), the flange is opened up to the same shape as the garrett turbocharger outlet to create an unrestricted path for the exhaust gases, the flow rate from the original cast manifold just wasn't good enough for us, so we elected to go from the turbo face, we originally tried a twin pipe header, but by going to a single pipe design we could increase the horsepower figures, but the torque, with the single 4" pipe came in approx 1000rpm earlier. All made from gr304 stainless steel, and tig welded. the flange is machined for a perfect seal on the turbo face.

The catalytic converter we chose for this system is a metallic substrate type, after rigorous testing including trying a twin high flow ceramic catalytic converter setup, the metallic substrate converter was the only converter that could support the horsepower we were trying to achieve and still fit satisfactorily within the confines of the underbody of the vehicle. see universal converters for details

ADAPTER - FORD BA TURBO/XR6 FALCON SEDAN/UTE

Used to adapt our dump/cat section to the original rear section of the exhaust

Gives the appearance from outside the vehicle that the car is unmodified but gives the vehicle a huge increase in power with no noticeable increase in noise.

MID SECTION - FORD BA TURBO/XR6 FALCON SEDAN/UTE 

 

The mid section of the exhaust is 4" dia at the front and for the main section is 3;1/2" dia. All 304 stainless steel, mandrel bent with no weld joints between bends, the pipe has a resonator muffler which when fitted tucks up neatly in front of the rear axle.

REAR MUFFLER - FORD BA TURBO/XR6 FALCON SEDAN/UTE

 

The rear muffler is highly polished 304 stainless steel, fitted with a dual wall stainless tip the 3;1/2"pipe work leading to the muffler is mandrel bent with no weld joins, all hanger brackets are braced to ensure there is no fatigue problems.
